Need to strengthen your hip? The seated hip extension with a resistive band is a good exercise for strengthening your hip.

To perform a seated hip extension with a resistive band:

  1. Sitting in a chair, take a resistive band and place it underneath your foot. Holding an end in each hand, start with your knee bent and your hip flexed up towards your chest.

  2. Push your foot down straightening out your knee, and slowly come back up.
