Need help improving hip mobility? A standing hip extension is an easy way to increase hip mobility and strengthen hip muscles while also improving balance.

To perform a standing hip extension:

  1. Stand while keeping your upper body straight.

  2. Bring one foot off of the ground. While keeping your knee straight, pull your toes up towards you and bring your leg backwards. Then slowly bring it back. Try not to arch your back or swing your body.
