Got a weak hip or other hip pain? Standing hip flexion (SLR) is an easy way to help strengthen your hip.

To perform standing hip flexion (SLR): 

  1. Stand up and keep your upper body straight.

  2. Lift one foot off the ground. Keeping your knee straight, pull your toes up towards you. Bring your leg forward and slowly come back down. Try not to swing your body while moving your leg.
