Buy the Sore Neck WorksheetSore neck muscles are common when starting a new workout program or when exercising a little too hard. These neck stretches can help relax a sore & tight neck and provide pain relief.

An upper trap stretch, levator scap stretch, and scalene/sternocleidomastoid (SCM) stretch are great ways to help get the neck loosened up when the muscles are sore.

Some other great stretches for muscles in the neck and shoulder area are a chest/pec stretch and a chin tuck.
