This neck pain relief exercises routine can help strengthen, relieve pain, and loosen up the muscles around the neck and the shoulder area. These neck exercises are done in real time, so it’s easy to follow along with the routine.
Starting off with a neck warmup, cervical sidebend, cervical rotation, and cervical half circles/full circles will get the muscles warm and loose.
Next, isometric exercises for the neck will help target different muscles around the neck and shoulder. Isometric cervical sidebend and isometric cervical rotation exercises are a great way to work the muscles without the big motions that might cause pain.
Finally, chin tucks, chin tucks with neck flexion, and shoulder squeezes are not only great for the neck and shoulders, but they can also help with improving posture.
Sore shoulders are common when starting a new workout program or when exercising a little too hard. These stretches can help relax sore and tight shoulder muscles and provide pain relief.
